Fashion Assistant/s
Our lovely assistant is leaving us for pastures new, which means an exciting opportunity has become available to work with us.
This is a fantastic chance to join a growing brand, well established on the preloved and Instagram scene, working with some of the most famous influencers, celebrities and fashion insiders. The Second Row has built a name for itself as the place for some of the most influential names in the fashion world to sell their wardrobes and has a dedicated social media following and client base with over 40k Instagram followers.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to take on an assistant role which involves photography and content creation. We have a fast turnaround of weekly influencer drops of 60 plus items. It’s important to state no previous experience in photography/fashion/social media is necessary as training will be provided. The role works on a weekly project basis and is a great opportunity to work flexible hours, whilst meeting regular deadlines. The role is likely 2-3 days a week, but the hours are flexible and can be done within your own schedule.
Main Duties:
Photographing single shots of clothing and footwear on a weekly basis. (Currently done on an iPhone and using an editing App - training will be provided).
Ability to work in a continuous, fast turnaround environment, shooting 60 plus items a week.
Editing and loading stock shots onto the website.
Basic administration skills including logging items.
Prep of clothing for shoots including steaming.
Content creation for Instagram including reels and collages
Basic IT Skills are a must with the ability to learn how to use Squarespace and editing Apps (training will be provided).
The ideal candidate will have:
An interest in fashion and an eye for current fashion trends.
Knowledge of brands from high street to designer.
An understanding of Instagram and influencers.
A creative eye and ability to style pieces to suit current trends.
Attention to detail.
Organisational skills.
Own photography/smart phone equipment (currently done on an iPhone 11) and laptop.
Start Date: Mid September. Plus days prior for training.
Location: Ilkley, West Yorkshire and part-time working from home if desired.
Salary: Dependent on experience. This is a part time role.
